OLD MASTERS + NEW FAVOURITES

Right now, there are some wonderful local events happening around Southpoint and we are here to help you plan the perfect winter’s day out!

Use South Bank railway station (conveniently located right above Southpoint) as your base, with loads of fresh and tasty grab and go food options at your finger tips:

European Masters from The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York – Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA)

This once in a lifetime exhibition allows Brisbane locals to experience works by painters such as Rembrandt, Renoir, Cézanne, and Monet.

The majority of these pieces rarely leave permanent display in New York and have been installed at GOMA in stunning purpose-built spaces. An absolute must-see!

Brickman Wonders of the World – Queensland Museum

Explore history’s greatest masterpieces, brought to life by LEGO Certified Professional Ryan ‘Brickman’ McNaught.

From the Great Wall of China to the Empire State Building — this world-class exhibition takes you on an interactive trip throughout history. No passport required!

Riverside Green – South Bank

Looking for a beautiful outdoor space to relax with a picnic? Riverside Green is a fabulous little oasis in the midst of busy South Bank.

Riverside Green offers glorious views  of the river and Brisbane City both day and night. The area which opened in January, features an open lawn area with an extension to

the adjoining rainforest and a large shaded pavilion with bbq’s, a sunken seating area and hanging plants.
